Who is polluting the air we breathe?

Wherever fossil fuels are used (e.g. transport, power stations), there are emissions that are harmful:

  • We have a one in 8 chance to die from emissions. (World Health Organization)
  • Our environment is affected by extreme climate change. It is disrupting national economies and affecting lives, costing people, communities and countries dearly today and even more tomorrow. (United Nations)

Continuous campaign

This is a continuous campaign, focused on reducing or eliminating emissions that every company (regardless of sector, size or location) is responsible for, by:

  • reducing emissions produced by the company
  • reducing emissions produced by other organizations whose services the company uses (e.g. suppliers, transport providers), by choosing organizations that pollute the least

How do we beat every emissions target set much sooner rather than later?

Very simply, we will beat every emissions target if every company measures and continually reduces the emissions it produces, and by being transparent with this information:

  • What emissions do companies produce (either directly or indirectly)?
  • How do companies plan to reduce emissions?
  • What targets have been set by companies?

How do I take action?

We propose to take any or all of the following actions:

  • Sign our petition to the UK Parliament at the link https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/210646/signatures/new. Our aim is to make it compulsory for companies to provide information on their emissions and how they are reducing them.
  • Share your photo messages via your social media and show how emissions are affecting you, using the #TakePositiveAction, #BePositiveChange,  #BreathCleanAir hashtags in your messages.
  • Share an image of yourself on your social network with the victory sign in front of your nose (yes, it will be a massive victory if we can breathe nourishing O2 and not any harmful emissions :). Use the #TakePositiveAction, #BePositiveChange,  #BreathCleanAir hashtags in your messages.
  • Share the link https://sustaincase.com/action-by-companies/ with companies that are not measuring/ reducing their emissions and help them become part of the positive chain reaction that is changing our world.
  • Share this page with your friends.
