As the largest publicly held oil and gas company in the world, with a diversified portfolio of high-quality assets, projects and resources across the company’s Upstream, Downstream and Chemical businesses, caring for the health and well-being of its approximately 73,500 employees, is more than just a priority for ExxonMobil. It is a core value and an essential part of the company’s culture, that relates to every aspect of its operations.

Abstract

ExxonMobil regards the protection, through effective solutions, of its workforce and operations from major health

threats as fundamental to the company’s enduring business success. In order to ensure employee health and wellness ExxonMobil took action to:
• identify and evaluate occupational health risks
• implement prevention, control and monitoring programs
• support employee health through the Culture of Health program
• minimize worker fatigue

Using the GRI Standards in order to maintain and increase the value of your company

With each publication in this series the FBRH team will highlight one key impact identified by a company reporting in accordance with the GRI Standards and show how it has taken a structured, systematic approach to improving performance.
