Hana Financial Group considers customers, employees, partner companies, central and local governments, shareholders, investors, and local communities— that have direct and indirect impacts on its business activities —as key stakeholders. The Group actively incorporates feedback received through various communication channels, such as annual stakeholder surveys, into its business practices. It identifies material issues by surveying internal and external stakeholders and discloses these issues through its reports.
How does Hana Financial Group promote a culture of responsible banking among its employees?

In its 2024 PRB Reporting and Self-Assessment Template Hana Financial Group reports that it took the following actions to promote a culture of responsible banking among its employees:

In 2007, Hana Financial Group became a member of the UN Global Compact, a voluntary initiative that promotes corporate social responsibility by endorsing the Ten Principles covering human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption. The Group commits to upholding these global principles and transparently reports its performance to the UNGC annually. Additionally, in May 2022, Hana Financial Group joined the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs), a collaborative initiative of UN Women under the UN Global Compact. The WEPs’ seven principles are grounded in real business practices. By supporting the WEPs, Hana Financial Group seeks to further promote gender equality awareness and align with the broader values and objectives of the United Nations.
