Corticeira Amorim is one of the biggest, most entrepreneurial and dynamic multinationals of Portuguese origin. Its activity in the cork business dates back to 1870 and, today, Corticeira Amorim is the world leader of the sector. Corticeira Amorim’s business activity generates direct, indirect and induced economic value for the communities where it is present internationally, nationally, regionally and locally, including salaries paid to employees, investments in the community and payments to the state in the form of taxes, royalties and fees.
