Workshop 14 June 2017: CSR/Sustainability Reporting made easy with the GRI Standards

On 14 June 2017 FBRH Consultants Ltd (GRI Certified Training Partner) and Deloitte Academy successfully organized a free seminar/workshop where participants were shown in simple terms how to conduct sustainability reporting using the GRI Standards.
Participants saw the benefits of sustainability reporting, and why it is of paramount importance that they use this methodical and structured approach to take advantage of the many opportunities, but also to protect their company from potential threats.
EU Directive2014/95/EU: Large Public Interest Entities Must Report Non-Financial Information
With the EU Non-Financial Reporting Directive coming into force, large companies across the EU must report.
Key facts
- The GRI Standards are the gold standard in sustainability reporting: 80% of the world’s 250 largest companies conduct their sustainability reporting using the GRI Standards.
- Under the terms of a Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2010, the UN Global Compact adopts the GRI sustainability reporting guidelines as the recommended reporting framework for companies to communicate on progress made.
